This well kept home is set in beautiful gardens and enjoys views of the National Forest and the Ocean in the distance. You will reach the house from Faro airport in three quarters of an hour. Casa Lia is within easy reach of Tavira, Cabanas, Manta Rota and Praia Verde with their beautiful beaches.. There’s an abundance of typical Portuguese restaurants just a short drive away. The Algarve’s attractions like Aqua Show and Zoo Marine are a drive away and provide a lively contrast to the peace and tranquillity of this idyllic setting. there’s also horse-riding close by at the Quinta Beldade.
The kitchen is large, well equipped and open plan with the lounge which is very comfortable with three large sofas, smart TV with British, Portuguese, French, German channels. , DVD player, stereo.
Separate utility room houses a second fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. Interior of villa measures 209 square metres.
Accessibility
Once inside the property you’ll notice that it’s all on one level with no stairs in the interior, which makes it suitable for children and for those who are less mobile. It is possible to enter the villa via the steps at the front of the house or via the patio area , making it suitable for people who are less mobile.

The dining room/conservatory (seating 6) is adjacent to the kitchen for those times when you don’t feel like dining al fresco on the terrace. There’s also a good selection of board games , some CDs, DVDs and plenty of reading material.

Bedroom 1 with super king size bed, plus single bed. French doors open onto the pool area. Luxurious en-suite.
Bedroom 2 with double bed, plus single. Views over country side. There is also a cot available, which can be put in any of the rooms.
Bedroom 3 with double bed plus single. All bedrooms with air conditioning.

There are two bathrooms. The en-suite bathroom has large corner bath plus separate shower cubicle, two hand basins. Finished to a very high standard. Family shower room is large with shower unit, 2 wash hand basins. All finished to a modern high specification with beautiful tiles.
Pool
Ideal for cooling down on those long, hot, lazy days of summer. The pool is 1.3 metres deep, Not suitable for diving. 7.6 metres (23 ft) in length, and 5 metres (15.3ft) across the round part. The pool is kept immaculate with visits by our house managers twice a week. The patio area is sunny but the large table, seating at least 8, is shaded. There is a speaker outside so you can listen to your favourite CDs/Ipod or radio. The barbecue is next to the pool area. We provide 6 sun loungers and a large parasol. The setting is tranquil with no close neighbours, no traffic noise and 360 degree views over the surrounding countryside and out to sea. Perfect peace!

Utility Room: Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board.
House manager on call. All linen and towels provided but please bring towels for the beach.
Golf
There are 5 superb 18 hole golf courses located within a 15-20 min drive from the villa making it especially suitable for golfing holidays, Benamor (par 71), is at the entrance to Cabanas. Quinta da Ria is a 10 min drive, also 18 holes, but a par 72, 6,110m. It has stunning views of the sea and mountains. Quinta da Cima is again a 10 min drive away with 18 holes, par 72, 6256m this time. Castro Marim is a little further, a 20 min drive and an 18 hole, par 71, 5265m. A challenging course for golfers of all standards. There is an American style Jack Nicklaus course built about 15 minutes drive away – Monte Rei Golf and Country Club. The Algarve has 18 other courses Villamoura, Quinta da Lago, all about forty mins direct drive on the Motorway A22. Of Course with Spain only 20mins away there are also many more courses just across the border in Spain
Payment
Payment can be made in £s or euros via bank transfer. To secure your booking we take a 25% non-refundable deposit. The balance is payable 6 weeks before your holiday.
The price includes linen, pool maintenance, weekly cleaning, the services of our house managers and gas for cooking and hot water. Electricity is not included up to the value of 70 euros per week.. The meter is read on arrival and departure.
We take a refundable security deposit of £300, payable the week before you travel. Provided there are no breakages, we repay the deposit minus the excess electricity immediately upon your return from holiday.
The basic price is for 2 adults plus children. There is a small supplement of £21 per week per person for extra adults.
