The property sleeps 16 adults (28 with Villa Two). Located in a quiet and upscale area close to local amenities and Beach. Providing superb service at sensible prices since 2007 and managed by the English owner.

“Mountain View Villas” Villa One – One of two stunning Villas located in one of the most desirable areas in the south of the Island. It’s the ideal location for families and couples to enjoy a great holiday experience in the tropical island paradise of Phuket. The villas are situated close to the beautiful beach of NAI HARN at the South West tip of the island.

Both villas provide quality and spacious accommodation; they were built and equipped to an uncompromising standard. Villa One, which is the 6-bedroom Villa, was recently extensively refurbished. We have an ongoing maintenance and upgrade program that ensures the properties are kept looking like new. They are professionally managed by the English owner and maintained and serviced on a daily basis by our full time staff.

Both our properties were designed to meet the demanding needs of both the rental market and tropical living. The design links all rooms on the main floor to a large shaded poolside terrace that becomes the focus for activities, entertaining and relaxation.

BUILT ON A SINGLE-LEVEL, from parking to poolside, they provide easy access even for the disabled or elderly and lots of usable space. Although the whole villa has air conditioning the design has used the natural wind flow to keep all areas well ventilated and cool without using air conditioning.

THE HUGE POOLSIDE TERRACE provides ample space for alfresco dining for 20 or more, comfortable seating, poolside fun and relaxation. Guests can enjoy the great views over the pool and large garden to the nearby mountains and undeveloped land to the rear of the property.

Space is the common theme throughout the villa, both in floor space and ceiling height. The main living area features high feature ceilings and sliding windows opening onto the poolside terrace.

LARGE GROUPS: The Villas are located on adjacent plots, but are completely private and separate making them ideal for larger groups to rent both properties at the same time. The Villa is an ideal location for weddings and large gatherings. We can accommodate up to 50 seated by the pool and can sleep up to 28 adults when the second villa is booked as well. We can also assist or advise in making all the arrangements needed.

The construction and design has been superb, as has the finishing with the extensive use of teak and marble flooring. The result is that the villa has an overwhelming feeling of space, luxury and comfort set within a very practical, clutter free and relaxing environment.

Villa One has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms with 5 en-suite bathrooms and can sleep 16 adults with ease. All bedrooms have AC and ceiling fans, large wardrobes with safes and have lots of floor space. We provide quality bed linen and towels. All beds have extra topper mattresses for added comfort.

VILLA ONE COMPRISES THE FOLLOWING BEDROOMS:
Bedroom 1 – King bed + single bed with en-suite bathroom with shower.
Bedroom 2 – King bed + single bed with en-suite bathroom shower and bath.
Bedroom 3 – King bed with en-suite bathroom with shower.
Bedroom 4 – King bed + single with en-suite bathroom with shower and bath.
Bedroom 5 – Queen bed with private bathroom with shower.
Bedroom 6 – Single beds x 3 or Double + single with en-suite bathroom with shower.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped spacious luxury western style kitchen with teak units and granite tops. Appliances include; Fan assisted oven, gas hob, two large separate sinks, dishwasher, two refrigerators and microwave. A large range of cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses is also provided everything you will need to entertain a large group.

LOUNGE: The huge lounge measuring 7m x 13m has ample room for 2 large sofas and chairs, large indoor dining table seating 8 and ¾ size pool table. A flat screen TV with home theatre system satellite TV with a DVD library.

YOUR VILLA EXPERIENCE: Booking our villa means your holiday starts the moment you arrive the airport where our English-speaking driver will meet you. Your shopping list for food and drink will have been completed. The villa is pristine with everything ready for your arrival. We meet all our guests at the villa with a welcome drink and make sure they can relax after what is normally a long journey. All you need to do is take a dip in the pool or just enjoy the balmy tropical evening with a drink.

The following day we can give you a quick tour of the area and show you some of the gems known only to the locals. We can provide on going help with your holiday itinerary, transport needs, eating out, car hire and food shopping.

THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF will keep the villa clean and tidy, our gardener will keep the pool and garden immaculate and our cook can temp you with an awesome range of Thai and western dishes.

FULL RANGE OF SERVICES for our guests. Basic services such as airport transfers, daily housekeeping, gardening, towels and linen, unlimited high speed Internet access and HD satellite TV are all included in the rental price. In addition we provide a full range of supplementary services such as catering, transport and concierge assistance to enhance your holiday experience.

IN-HOUSE CATERING (OPTIONAL) One of the many benefits of renting a villa is having the option of having meals provided in a beautiful, private, convenient and comfortable setting not to mention the huge cost savings.

Our highly experienced team provides our catering and they have a wealth of experience in catering to large and small groups. Their specialty is of course Thai food, which is renowned worldwide.

If you have children or adults with special food needs our team can provide everything from child friendly to Vegan needs and if you need some good old western food like Christmas Dinner or seafood BBQ they are can provide this.

Eating at the Villa also has some real practical benefits especially for families and large groups. Breakfast is transformed into a relaxing and enjoyable experience, wake to the smell of coffee and enjoy the buffet breakfast, which is set out on the poolside. Chat with your friends and family whilst the cook prepares your individually cooked meal. There is no wait for seats, wait for food, waiting for stragglers and costs are about the same or less as eating out.

In the evening enjoy your own private poolside restaurant, with comfortable furniture, great ambiance, total privacy and the convenience of being able to put young children to bed or have them amuse themselves. Drink your own stock of wine, beer and drinks. Stay as late as you like, don’t even think about driving or a taxi and then wonder why the bill is so low!

The Neighborhood

LOCATED IN A PEACEFUL AND UPSCALE area on a quiet, traffic-free cul-de-sac you will enjoy local amenities, including a full range of restaurants, family friendly bars, shops and banks, all a short walk from your villa.

NAI HARN BEACH, which is 2km from the Villa, was recently voted as one of the best in SE Asia is amongst the best on the island. Despite this, the area is still relatively underdeveloped and provides a haven for expats and tourists alike.

THERE ARE MANY LOCAL AMENITIES such as a good range of cafes, quality restaurants, bars and small shops. Visit one of the many small spas for a massage or facial at prices you cannot believe. Venture further out to Beach where long tail boats, small seafood cafes and small bars provide a uniquely Thai feels to the area. A little further, Chalong with its pier is the base for most of the islands water based activities.

THE LIVELY NIGHTLIFE. take a short drive to for some great bars but if you want something a bit more exciting in the evening then take a short scenic drive to Kata, Karon or Patong. There you will find some of the more uniquely racy Thai evening entertainment venues as well as many world-class restaurants and night spots.

Getting Around

WALKING the Villa is ideally located on a quite cul-de- sac close to the main road to the beach. You are within easy walking distance to many local amenities like ATM, convenience stores, bars, restaurants etc.

CAR HIRE (SELF DRIVE) can be arranged and we have several reliable and honest local companies that we recommend that you use.

MINI BUS & DRIVER our own prefered driver is also available for use by our guests. You can use him on a per trip or per day basis. He also has other drivers in his group that you can use. He speaks good English and works to a pre-published rate of charges.

MOTOR BIKE HIRE we would ask you to take great care if you decide to hire a motor bike and despite their popularity on the island would not recomend this as your best option for travelling around.

Other Things to Note

RENTAL PRICES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING

TRANSFERS FROM PHUKET AIRPORT or other location on Phuket. This covers 2 trips of 1 van each. Additional trips can be arranged and we will charge 1,500Baht per trip. We use our own preferred driver who speaks English.

ELECTRICITY to a limit of 120KWh per day. Additional units used will be charged at the cost price about 6 Baht per unit.

INTERNET we have good high speed WiFi internet in the Villa. Usage is unlimited and provided at no charge.

SATELLITE TV we have UBC Satellite TV in the Villa which has a wide range of movie, sports and news channels.

CLEANING AND MAID SERVICE we provide cleaning and maid service on daily basis to cover bed making and general cleaning duties but not personal laundry or cooking. The service is provided for about 3-4 hours per day.

TOWELS AND LINEN we provide quality towels both for the bathroom and poolside and bed linen which is changed every 3-4 days. Towels are changed every 2-3 days.

CONSUMABLE ITEMS like toilet paper, kitchen towels, shampoo , shower gel and dishwasher soap.

BABY & CHILDREN ITEMS we have several cots, high chairs, pushchair and potty which are provided at no cost. We also have car seats for which we make a small daily change for.

CONCIERGE ASSISTANCE we are close by to the Villa and can provide any assistance or advise that you may need.

OPTIONAL SERVICES AT ADDITIONAL COST

CATERING we can provided a range of catering options at the Villa. We have several supplers that we use and can generaly meet you budget and culinary requirements.

BABYSITTING we can arrange child minding and baby sitting services. Please let us know in advance of your needs.

BOAT TRIPS (Phi Phi) we have several companies we would recomend for boat trips. Our preferred for Phi Ph trips would be “Blue World Safaris” who we have used on many occasions in the past few years and have always had very good reviews.

MASSAGE we have several local contacts who can provide professional massage services at the Villa.

John Harradine

I have lived in Phuket since 2000. After selling my Computer Sevices business in the UK it seemed such a great place to retire. Although retirement involves working harder than I ever did when I had a ‘real’ job. Despite there being many things in Thailand that seem a bit weird and quirky to a western view point you will after a short stay appreciate my own saying “Thailand, from the sublime to the ridiculous, but never boring!”
