Our simply stunning, family friendly, newly renovated 100 year old antique villa, provides 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a secluded private pool and garden. It has an amazing outdoor living space which overlooks the garden. It is fully staffed with Manager, Chef and Housekeeping staff. We are situated in a very peaceful area just two minutes walk from a fabulous beach and five minutes Tuk Tuk ride away from Weligama town and it’s facilities. Plenty of excursions to see the area are available.
Our villa is a truly special place. It was in the same family for 100 years before we purchased it. It was the village Walauwa which means important Chiefs house. Three generations of the same family were born and raised here. It has a wonderfully calm atmosphere and has the feel of a very much loved happy home.
Breakfast is included as part of your stay rate and other meals, snacks and drinks can be purchased from our menu. Our Menu offers both Sri Lankan and European dishes. We also have a dedicated kids menu.
We have four members of staff , our Manager, Chef, Steward and House Keeper who all work very discreetly from separate quarters in the grounds. We want our guests to have a home from home experience so our staff make sure to respect your privacy at all times.
The villa is luxuriously furnished and is very family friendly. We have hosted many families from the Airbnb world and we have games, kids DVD’s, cots and highchairs available for our younger guests.
Our large pool is overlooked by the living area, has a shallow three foot end with steps and non slip edging which makes it great for kids and adults alike.
Our garden is private and peaceful and is visited by Monkeys, Peacocks and other beautiful tropical birds. The villa is at one with nature and has a very large open air living area at the rear which overlooks the garden making it a great space for families and parents to relax together. We have four air conditioned bedrooms with outdoor bathrooms. All our linen is high grade and we provide bathrobes and toiletries.
Sihinaya is a luxurious villa but also very relaxed and a comfortable place to stay.
